Positive Mental Attitude For Teenagers and Teens.

The formula begins with learning HOW to create a Positive Mental Attitude for Teenagers and Teens.  This is no small task, although anyone can accomplish this by following the formula.  Speaking to kids all over the U.S., whether privileged, inner-cities, gifted, rich, poor, black or white; all come with issues.  Our first step is to acknowledge where we are coming from so we know where we are going to.  Taking inventory is where we begin.  I realize that the best way one can develop a positive mental attitude is to have someone to believe, encourage and motivate them.  Unfortunately, even if a child is lucky enough to have a encouraging parental base, it is not enough.  A positive mental attitude or PMA (plan, motivate and act) as I call it, takes some work and by definition involves my Section II "Setting Goals" and my section III "Dealing with Setbacks".

But PMA is a state of mind, and the mind is extremely powerful and like a muscle needs to be exercised.  This section shows kids HOW to make that happen.
